Tony began his career around 23 years ago, completing a full apprenticeship with his family’s heating business. He later worked for several large heating companies, gaining extensive practical experience across a wide range of domestic plumbing and heating systems.
In 2011, Tony established his own successful heating business, building a strong reputation for quality workmanship, reliability and excellent customer care. Much of his work has come through recommendations, reflecting the high standards and attention to detail he brings to every project.
For the past three years, Tony has specialised in heat-pump installations. He brings together more than two decades of traditional heating knowledge with hands-on experience in modern renewable technology, including system installation and commissioning.
Tony believes in listening to each customer, understanding the individual needs of their property and completing every installation with care and respect.

Darren Robinson
Co-Founder & Heating Engineer
Engineering Experience You Can Rely On
Darren has worked within the plumbing and heating industry for around 26 years. He began his engineering career with the Royal Engineers, where he developed the practical skills, discipline and problem-solving approach that have remained central to his work ever since.
As a Gas Safe registered heating engineer, Darren has successfully run his own plumbing and heating company for more than 17 years. During this time, he has gained extensive hands-on experience in domestic heating, installations, servicing, system upgrades and fault finding.
Since 2023, Darren has also specialised in air source heat-pump installations, developing experience across the complete process—from assessing the property and planning the system through to installation, commissioning and customer handover.
Within R&P Renewables, Darren is involved in installations, managing projects and subcontractors, communicating with customers and ensuring every job is completed properly and to a high standard.
Strong family values shape Darren’s approach to business. He believes in being honest, reliable, treating people properly and taking genuine pride in the quality of every job.

Customer Support & Administration
Helping Keep Everything Running Smoothly
Shannon supports the day-to-day administration at R&P Renewables, helping to keep customer enquiries, appointments and paperwork organised.
She may be one of the friendly voices customers speak to when they contact us, assisting with general questions, arranging calls and making sure information reaches the right member of the team.
Working behind the scenes, Shannon helps Tony and Darren keep everything running smoothly and ensures customers receive friendly, helpful communication throughout their experience with R&P Renewables.
Imogen
Customer Support & Administration
Friendly Support Behind the Scenes
Imogen provides administrative and customer support at R&P Renewables, helping the team stay organised and ensuring enquiries are handled efficiently.
She supports the day-to-day running of the business by assisting with customer communication, arranging appointments and helping to keep important job information and paperwork up to date.
Working alongside Shannon, Tony and Darren, Imogen helps make sure customers receive clear, friendly support from their initial enquiry through to the completion of their project.
Wayne
Gas & Heating Engineer

Wayne is a fully qualified gas and heating engineer who brings extensive practical knowledge and experience to the R&P Renewables team.
Having successfully established and run his own heating business, Wayne understands the importance of reliable service, professional workmanship and completing every job to a high standard.
He works alongside Tony and Darren on selected projects, supporting installations and using his experience to help ensure each job is completed carefully, efficiently and professionally.
Mason
Apprentice Heating Engineer
Learning Today. Building for the Future.
As an apprentice heating engineer, Mason is developing his practical skills and industry knowledge while working alongside Tony, Darren and the wider R&P Renewables team.
He assists on selected jobs under the guidance and supervision of our experienced engineers, learning about plumbing, heating and modern renewable technologies through real hands-on experience.
Enthusiastic and keen to learn, Mason is gaining the skills needed to become part of the next generation of heating engineers.
